Performance-Packed Luxury Awaits in 2017 MKT

The 2017 Lincoln MKT sets the bar for the perfect combination of practicality, luxury, technology and safety in an SUV, proving that you don’t need to sacrifice refinement to have a vehicle capable of adventure.

Under the Hood

Three engine choices are offered in the 2017 Lincoln MKT. A 2-liter GTDI four-cylinder engine puts out 237 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. The 3.7-liter V6 engine produces 303 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the 3.5-liter GTDI V6 engine delivers 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.

Engines are teamed with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with manual whiting capability via steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The vehicle is available in both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations.

Comfort and Convenience

Lincoln designers equipped the 2017 MKT with host of standard features to elevate the luxury and technology drivers have at their fingertips. The 10-speaker audio system features AM/FM/CD/MP3 playback and interfaces with the infotainment system, which links with smartphones for audio streaming, hands-free voice calls and mobile app integration. Intuitive voice commands allow drivers to control the system while keeping their eyes on the road and their hands on the steering wheel. The infotainment system is controlled via an 8-inch color touchscreen.

Driver and front passenger sit in the comfort of 12-way power-adjustable seats with seat heaters and cooling capability. Second-row seats are 60/40 split, and third-row seats are 50/50 split for a multitude of seating and cargo carrying configurations.

Other standard features include a power liftgate, rain-sensing windshield wipers and intelligent access with push-button start.

A full set of airbags including dual front airbags, front seat-mounted side impact airbags and side curtain airbags for all three rows protects occupants in the event of a collision.

Four-wheel antilock disc brakes with brake assist stop the vehicle quickly. Traction control with roll stability control helps keep the vehicle on the driver’s intended course.

Three-point seat belts are standard at all seating locations, and the LATCH system ensures child seats can be safely installed.

A standard rearview camera enhances safety when reversing.
